— Are you looking for full or part time work that is flexible and fulfilling?
— Are you warm, intelligent, and a great communicator, looking to use your skills?
— Are you looking to work closely with women who truly love, support, and learn from one another in the spirit of sisterhood?
— Do you want to contribute to your family’s income while having the flexibility to be at home much of the time?
We are still growing and need YOU to help us provide the highest level of care for everyone that seeks it! For more than 25 years, our birth and postpartum doula services have supported, empowered, and nurtured women and their families in the childbearing year!
Hard to believe, but this week marks 25 years of Birth Partners supporting women and families in the childbearing year!
Thank you to all the fabulous clients we have had the honor of serving- and to the most amazing doulas, who have supported those clients!
And a huge thank you to Birth Partners founder, Janet Padgett — you conceived and raised Birth Partners from an embryo, and gave birth to a beautiful and profound gift, shared with women and families for 25 years! Thank you!
Birth Partners is going strong and needing even more birth doulas to meet the needs of women and families – and we offer training as well!
One of the best parts of working with us is working side by side with our amazing team of “sister-doulas”! The work is incredibly fulfilling, flexible (as long as you have a flexible schedule and are open to planning to be spontaneous, lol), and may be full or part time.

Are you a doula or considering becoming one? Explore if this might be the right path for YOU! Join us at the Connecticut Childbirth and Women’s Center in Danbury on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at 7 pm as doulas from the Birth Partners family discuss avenues for becoming and working as a doula, as well as the lifestyle. A question and answer period will follow.
Email us at email@example.com for more information or to register. (Pre-registration is required as space is limited)
Birth Partners is happy to offer placenta encapsulation services. Ingesting capsules made from one’s own placenta has been shown to be beneficial in increasing the mom’s milk supply as well as balancing hormones, thus reducing the incidence of postpartum depression.

Birth Partners’ founder and President, Janet Hall, will be tying the knot in June and taking her new husband’s last name.
Janet Hall will become Janet Padgett on June 22, and we wish her and Kurt the very best in their new life together!
… but aren’t sure the time is right?
Have you wondered how some make it work with young families, or if you can doula only part time or with another job? What kind of training is needed? what are the pros and cons of working on your own or with a group?
Meet the doulas of Birth Partners and get your questions answered! We are hosting a free informational evening on Monday, February 27 at 7 pm in Derby, CT.
For more information or to register to attend, please email email@example.com. Please include your name, phone number, town, and a bit about your interest (are you a doula already? just gathering information for the future? ready to take the leap?) Directions and registration form will be sent via return email.
We look forward to seeing you all there!
Birth Partners President Janet Hall and four of the birth doulas serving Birth Partners clients, as well as their partners, celebrated the end of a a great year and anticipation for a wonderful 2012 at Vazzy’s Restaurant in Shelton on December 30. We are grateful for the support they provide to our clients and to one another. They are truly the BEST!
Birth Partners held their monthly meeting and birth doula/intern training in Stratford on November 30. Six birth doulas and interns serving Birth Partners’ clients were in attendance to share with, learn from, and support each other in this special work that we do.
As always, we look forward to next month’s gathering!
